Javaris födelsedag / Javari's birthday

Since I'm ambivalent in which language to write in I'm going to try to write in both Swedish and English in most posts. Swedish first and then English in grey text. Hopefully it won't be too annoying.

Javari fyllde 5 i lördags.

Javari turned 5 last Saturday. We celebrated the occasion with cake and balloons. A family we know came and had cake with us in the afternoon. The kids played video games while the adults chatted. Then we had dinner and played board games all night. It was a cheap and fun celebration. Sunday we just stayed home. Monday Javari had kinder prep with a couple of kids from the playgroup. I managed to forget Javari's afternoon doctor's appointment and I still haven't called to reschedule, shame on me! Today Javari was at preschool for two hours. Dequan was home with hubby so I went for a short walk by myself. 20 minutes was enough as it was pretty cold. Yesterday I finished reading my book (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo). It was so awesome, one of the best books I've read! I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

  2. Happy Birthday Javari! I can't believe how old hes getting. How on earth do you have board game night with little Dequan!? LOL No, I'm sure he's much more tame than Tj. We can't play anything without Tj trying to attack the board. :o)

  3. He was only good that night because he had a balloon. The dude is reckless! He pulls down everything, there's always clothes and stuff all over our floors. He bangs stuff (usually our heads) and throws stuff. You really have to watch out. LOL
